SEVENTH ANNUAL BRICK DERBY & GIANT RAFFLE

A message from Diane & Rich from Metro East Bricks…
Thank you for your interest in our 2024 Seventh Annual Brick Derby. Proceeds will benefit Gateway Pet Guardians. $1,160 was donated to St. John Bosco Children’s Center as a result of the Sixth Brick Derby. The Derby will be held at Leu Civic Center, 213 N. Market St., Mascoutah, Illinois. Registration and check-in will begin at 9 am, with racing from 10-12:30 pm. Donuts and drinks will be available at a nominal price.
We will have creative play LEGO Bricks available for the kids to play with before the racing begins. Don't forget that we will have donuts and drinks available for a nominal cost, so bring cash! The doors to will open at 9 am, and we encourage everyone to come early to get your car checked and signed in, and check out the items available in our Giant Raffle. PLEASE ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 9:45 AM, as we may have to disqualify your car if any issues arise that could cause the race to be delayed.
Rodger and Rich will do a great job in acquiring many items that will be available at the raffle. In past Derbies, there have been gift cards from places like Peel, Tavern on Main, Beast Craft BBQ, and other restaurants. There will be kid items like LEGO sets, sidewalk chalk, GameStop packages, and many others. Raffle tickets will be available at the door, but you can reserve them in advance by continuing to the bottom of this page. A few door prizes will be given out as well.
The Seventh Derby will also offer a Silent Auction. Items are still to be determined, but at the previous Derbies, you could bid on a massage from Purple Tree, a Scentsy package, and Cardinals tickets. We will accept checks or a credit card for the Silent Auction items and for large raffle purchases.
Our charity for the Seventh Annual Brick Derby will be Gateway Pet Guardians. GPG is dedicated to reacuing homeless pets in the area, getting them great veterinary care, and finding them forever homes.
